ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSMS (AAA)
The aorta is the largest blood vessel that is responsible for carrying oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the body. When a segment of the abdominal aorta expands into a bulge, it is known as an AAA. Aortic aneurysms can rupture and cause death or it can send off clots that may lead to limb loss.

Risk Factors Include:
Family history of AAA
Age
Smoking
Hypertension
More common in men

Common Symptoms:
Abdominal pain
A pulsating feeling in the abdomen
Back pain
A blue painful toe
